My name is Darrylinn Martinez, I'm an enrolled tribal member from San Ildefonso Pueblo and currently at home with my two children who are doing school virtually this year. I enjoy that I'm able to be home with them and watch them grow and learn. We are all facing the struggles with the pandemic and hope that this will all pass and can go back to some what normalcy in our lives.
2021 My name is Denisha Rusk and I am 23 years old, born and raised in beautiful Arroyo Seco, NM (Taos, NM). I was raised by an awesome, loving and motivating mother who brought me into the best family I could've asked for. Also, a dog mom to a beautiful English Bulldog named Remy.
2021 Hello, my name is Grace Graham. I am a 22 year old from Santa Fe. I have a puppy named Fibi, who is my world. I currently work as a barista from Starbucks. I am hoping to eventually get into a career that combines technology with creative expression.

2021 Hi my name is Kim McAuliffe. I am currently a manager in Santa Fe, New Mexico. My responsibilities include employee scheduling, completing daily deposits, reconciling deposits, and much more. The activities I enjoy are jigsaw puzzles, doodle art, word search, and hiking. My strongest qualities are problem solving, organization, dependability, and truthfulness.
2021 My name is Liam Ireland. I was born and raised in Taos, New Mexico. I have been working as a bartender for several years now and I am excited to explore my options in the field of GIS. In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors, particularly snowboarding and hiking.
2021 My name is Leah Romero I was born and raised in Santa Fe New Mexico. I am the youngest of five, three brothers and one sister. I graduated from Santa Fe High School in 2016 and attended Santa Fe Community College from 2016 to 2018. I currently have two jobs. I work with a beauty supply company called Cosmo Prof as a sales consultant. I also work at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). I have been with DHS for 3 years. My hobbies include dancing, drawing, painting, cooking and anything to do with being outdoors with my husband and my dog. I love being creative trying and new things.

Patient Advocate, Citizen Lobbyist, love nature, lady rider, Government Compliance specialist. 2021 Pascal Fromentin Is a former computer programmer. He changed careers 20 years ago to become a Massage Therapist In Santa Fe. At the age of 60 he is ready for another change of direction and chose the Protec 2021 program to refine his computer skills on today’s applications and start a new career.

I am majoring in Environmental Studies and have a great interest in studying diverse environments, climates, formations of earth, and earth's inhabitants and the effect/impact they have on the environment. Hi, I am Christian Valle. I am from El Paso, TX. I've been in New Mexico for as long as I could remember, I am a father of 4 and have been married for 5 years. I have had a really hard life growing up. I always wanted to be the first to graduate high school or go to college but I never had the support to finish or go until now that I have kids and have a wife. That's been my right shoulder to motivate me to want to do more for me and for the future of my kids. I want to work in automobile engineering and be able to have a steady job. I am also a part-time college student at Santa Fe Community College. I am currently a Graphic Design student. My interest is in designing/media/technology. My name is Edith Astorga. I am from Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. I am 24 years old, mother of 4 babies. My youngest is 3 months and my oldests is 5 years old. I have lived in New Mexico for 21 years. I graduated Santa Fe High. I have attended SFCC for almost a year. I was interested in law but focused in nursing. I got my CNA as I admire working with old folks and thought it will be good for my grandfather. I was undocumented until 2016 that my husband file for me to get my residency. Since then its been much harder. I work with the Dreamers Activist movement since 2014 since that I've been interested in laws and rights. 2020

I was an art instructor for a number of years in California, both at the Community College level and at the University level. I moved on to the field of Travel. I was a Tour Director for over 20 years, teaching history, geology, flora, fauna, and the current politics affecting our National Parks in New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming, South Dakota, Montana, Hawaii and California. 2020
My name is Megan, and I am a creative problem solver and a visual thinker. I love computer programming in Python and 3D modeling in Blender. I'll be starting college in the fall and I plan to earn my degree in Computer Science. I have mild autism, so before I joined PROTEC I had trouble successfully applying to jobs. Sandra Corso
I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Like most “Cariocas” (natives of Rio), I fell in love with nature at a very young age. Because Rio is surrounded by beautiful tropical beaches, islands, rainforest and mountains, it inspires many people with a deep desire to enjoy nature. As an adult, I have lived in the U.S. for more than 40 years, working as a Seismic Analyst at the University of Washington after I received a BS degree in Geology and Oceanography, and leading 2-day to 30-day mountaineering, climbing and backpacking trips for a number of outdoor organizations. In addition, I have been guiding Wilderness trips, bike touring as well as bikepacking tours in the Sierras, Alaska, North Cascades, Canadian and Colorado Rockies, South America and all of the National Parks of the West, for over 25 years. I have also been a senior Outward Bound School Instructor. When not guiding and instructing, I enjoy exploring and researching about adventure destinations all over the world. 2020 Tash Deschenie is a gifted artist and learning facilitator. As a member of the Navajo Nation, she has assisted with hosting numerous visiting college and high school groups in Dinétah (the Navajo Nation) over the years. She has also served as an AmeriCorps Vista member in the educational field. 2020
My name is Santiago Vigil and I’m a 23 year old graphic designer. I just recently graduated from Santa Fe Community College with an AAS in Media Arts. During my me there, I also touched on several other topics like web design, video eding, and photography. During my time there, I was blessed to have an internship with STEM Santa Fe and I was their own personal graphic designer. I learned a lot of good tips about being in the workforce, and I felt like my creative mindset really helped her create all her ideas into the real world. 2020
