Hi! My name is Jennifer Nevarez and I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I LOVE living here in the southwest and am the founder of a local nonprofit dedicated to "building stronger communities through real-life learning" called Community Learning Network, (CLN). CLN began by facilitating face-to-face, real-life, community-based learning opportunities for students, but all of these programs have been dramatically impacted by COVID-19. Although born in New Orleans, I have lived in many places on this life journey including Washington, DC, Los Angeles, CA, San Diego, CA, Tse'Daa K'aan in Navajo Nation, and even London, England. I studied Communications and Social Science in college prior to getting my Master's Degree in education and a professional Teaching Credential. However, I have worked in a range of fields including education, non-profits, and even for a giant Tech company on the West coast. My life has been a spiral of unexpected opportunities and changes, and I look forward to supporting you in exploring what gifts and talents you have and how you can share them with the world!
