Hi! My name is Jennifer Nevarez and I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I LOVE living here in the southwest and am the founder of a local nonprofit dedicated to "building stronger communities through real-life learning" called Community Learning Network, (CLN). CLN began by facilitating face-to-face, real-life, community-based learning opportunities for students, but all of these programs have been dramatically impacted by COVID-19. Although born in New Orleans, I have lived in many places on this life journey including Washington, DC, Los Angeles, CA, San Diego, CA, Tse'Daa K'aan in Navajo Nation, and even London, England. I studied Communications and Social Science in college prior to getting my Master's Degree in education and a professional Teaching Credential. However, I have worked in a range of fields including education, non-profits, and even for a giant Tech company on the West coast. My life has been a spiral of unexpected opportunities and changes, and I look forward to supporting you in exploring what gifts and talents you have and how you can share them with the world! “Profile Notice from Santa Fe Community College Continuing Education” Directions in the email will read: “A student profile has been set up for you at Santa Fe Community College Continuing Education. Your Username is: xxxx. To set your password, please click on the link below (or copy and paste the URL into your browser). Once you set your password, you will go to a screen where you can edit or complete your user profile. When you are finished, at the bottom of the page, click Submit."

Confirm Current Course Registration:

In the tabs section, click “Current registrations”
to see the classes you are registered in.
You should see the PROTEC course.
Confirm Password:

and a box will appear with your user name and password box.
If there is no password: create a password and save it
If there is a password: You can highlight the password and copy it to use in the next step
OR you can change the password and copy it to use in the next step
Access CANVAS course platform:

Click on “Go to Canvas.”
It will take you to the Canvas platform with your email address.
