Saturdays & Sundays 9am-5pm Production Assistant Training Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) Film Department and Stagecoach Foundation, Inc. have teamed up to offer a 3-weekend Production Assistant training program. This program will be offered in-person at the Santa Fe Community College campus at 6401 Richards Avenue, Santa Fe, NM 87508. Classes focus on detailed practical skills needed when beginning your career in Film Production. This intensive training program is aimed at preparing anyone interested in working in the film industry with the basic skills to get started. The day-long classes focus on film set safety and etiquette, On location PA skills, Production Office skills, interview and resume training, and the many other skills needed to gain work as a Production Assistant. Students earn their OSHA 10 card and learn about paid internship opportunities in New Mexico. Participants need to be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license. This intensive 12-week, full-time, immersive learning experience prepares you for high-demand jobs at local employers who have immediate openings. In addition to free tuition, each student will receive a $3600 stipend. Expenses like transportation and childcare can be daunting but with a little financial help opportunities open up!
